HOW TO GET YOUR DOG READY FOR A NIGHT OF TRICK OR TREATING
It’s that time of the year again - everyone is getting ready for Halloween! We love this season with pumpkin carving, cider, and fun outfits.
With the most excitement happening on Halloween, where neighborhood children dress as goblins, princesses, and football players, you can’t leave your dog out of the festivities! Creating a memorable Halloween evening is great fun for the entire family.
So, for those of you taking your dog along with you, there are a few things to consider. Here’s how to get your dog ready for a night of trick or treating.
Costumes
Well, while dog’s don’t really need to get dressed up - they are cute in or out of a costume - it is a lot of fun! For dog costumes, take the following into consideration:
- Use Color - dark costumes are hard to see, and you don’t want your pooch to get accidentally bumped by candy-seeking kiddos.
- Clearance - make sure that your dog can go to the bathroom, both #1 and #2, as you don’t want any accidents.
- Less Is More - things that tie, snap on, or are difficult to get in or out of can cause a bit of frustration for both you and your pup. So keep it simple.

Trick or Treat Tricks

Pack a little bag to take with you. Last thing you want to have happen is to return to the house because you forgot something that your pup needs. Your bag should include:
